Thanks for giving us the inside peak at some of the shows. Megan Geckler’s flagging tape is a trip! I would love to hear how this inspiration came about. It’s a true testament to the fact that creativity can come from anywhere and when we expand our limited ideas about what design can look at – anything is possible – even flagging tape.

I love everything you’ve featured here. The Curly Girl Showroom mannequin is awesome – I was just at Switch in Portland, Ore. and they used newspaper to dress their mannequins and did evening wear themes and then hats. It was so eye-catching and showed off their creativity.

I also really dig the Shops on Main earrings on guitar strings. Very clever and gets your attention. And I agree – the wine bottles as the address would be perfect to spell out just about anything as a display.

Love all your great finds – keep up the stellar work!

Happy New Year!
Yes, all the reports are giving us a thumbs up for this holiday season. So exciting! I have a blog coming out Monday that gives more details on the results.

Love the Sale sign idea from Thread. Creative and clever and it looks really good. Also dig the idea of using the merchandise to spell out sale – very creative.

Can’t wait to see what 2012 brings us!
